Which is the best sauce for a taco?

Although there is nothing written in stone about the best combination of taco and sauce, it is true that there are several sauces that specially match with some tacos.  Here we disclose to you some of our favorites.

Habanero Sauce

By and large, Yucatecan food matches very well with this sauce, but there is something special when combining cochinita pibil tacos with the habanero sauce.  Before you get too thrilled about it, try it first, since it is very hot and spicy, and not everybody can stand it.

Ranchera sauce

Rancheros eggs are the iconic dish for this sauce, but when time arrives to taquear, buche tacos are the right option.  The flavor combination matches very well, if you haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for?

Macha sauce

This is one of the most elaborated and complex sauces there are, but the process is really worth it.  It is so delicious that you can add a few drops to chicken broth, and it’s wonderful!  But when the time for tacos arrives, the best option are  the pork rind tacos, as good as the grilled beef ones.

Chile morita sauce

A red sauce moderate spicy, made with dry morita, not searching for the hot but for the smoky.  It is the perfect sauce for the street tacos, suadero, pork sausage or pastor ones.

Green sauce

We refer to the Green sauce of raw serrano chile with a little green tomato and a good portion of onions.  This sauce is perfect for all the Mexican snacks, quesadillas, huaraches, sopes, gorditas, and for the tacos, is the best option for golden tacos (or flutes).
